Join me for a nature-based yoga practice in one of Utah’s lesser-known gems: Snow Canyon State Park!
The yoga practice is designed to be friendly to all levels, with an emphasis on connecting to the natural landscape that is around us. We will be meeting in a parking area and then making our way over to the area where we will be practicing yoga - either on a formation of red rocks or at a sand dune.
The yoga practice typically has the structure of a nature-based meditation, then physical m
ovement (asana), followed by space to rest and reflect on the experience. All of these components of the experience will be connected to gratitude for the natural world and encouragement for experiencing well-being.
The style of yoga practiced can be modified to best fit your physical and emotional needs. I often teach from a trauma-sensitive approach.
