In the workshop, you will use steel letter stamps and a hammer to impress words of your choice onto sterling silver strips. Then, you will form the strip into a circle and solder it together (with help). Finally, oxidize (blacken) the ring, and polish to your desired finish. We limit the workshop to four students to guarantee lots of personal instruction, as well as the opportunity to get to know your classmates.
Other things to note
Unfortunately, our Victorian-era building is not fully accessible to the handicapped.
Private Photo Session at DC's Tidal Basin
This private photoshoot experience will begin at the Tidal Basin in Washington D.C., where there is a beautiful mix of architecture, nature, and scenery. We will begin by taking photos along the Tidal Basin and end with photos at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. I will retouch and edit all of your photos for you and you will receive an online gallery of your photos where you can download/print your photos.
This is a popular location for taking photos with cherry blossoms in the spring.
*For photos with the cherry blossoms, you must book within the peak dates, which typically fall between March 20 - April 17.*

DC Graffiti History & Workshop WBL
First we will welcome guest into our space by sharing some history of graffiti art in Washington DC. Then we will begin the process of creating name based art work on paper, and then on our 50 foot long x 9-foot tall practice wall.

The After Five Tour
In a city synonymous with backroom dealing, hidden doors and secret passages this self-guided experience might not seem that far-fetched. We are a 110 room magical mystery museum and mansion, with over 80 secret doors.
Stretching between five interconnected townhouses in Dupont Circle, this former FBI hideout-turned immersive museum holds a cache of treasures waiting to be found behind it’s secret doors and hidden passageways — including unique architecture, antiques, paintings, sculptures, signed guitars, memorabilia, and much more.
This is a self-guided tour. We’d never spoil the fun by giving you a map, either; getting lost in one of DC's most unique landmarks and finding your own way is exactly the point. You can’t get found until you get lost.
We are rated by the Smithsonian as the “Top 5 historic venues to explore — in the world” and the only place in the U.S that they put on their list!
You'll be treated to a sip of Jack Daniels. There will also be a cash bar with signature drinks and snacks available for purchase.
Oh, and be sure to be on the lookout for things you love, nearly everything you see is for sale — so bring your own shopping bag to carry your new found treasures home. Or know we can ship them to you.

Explore Secret Doors & Themed Rooms
From spies to secret passageways put your super sleuth skills to the test as you search for over 70 secret doors and explore our themed rooms. We would never give you a map - this would ruin the surprise of finding a secret door. We do show you a video and talk to you about the Big O before you start your journey. It’s not in the finding, it’s in the seeking that is important. Experience the magic!
Your self-guided experience will begin with an in-depth video introduction to our history and our secret doors, as well as what to look for as you go. Then, we will send you off on your own to search for the secrets and treasures that are everywhere to be found.
As you explore the mansion, which is steeped in history and intrigue, you'll be walking in the footsteps of presidents, freedom fighters, G-Men, historians, famous musicians, and fiction writers. Built 125 years ago, nearly every President since Teddy Roosevelt has visited.

Nice Virginia & Shenandoah Day Tour from DC
Welcome to Luray, Virginia! Today, we will explore the lovely Luray Caverns! In the caverns, we will discover the spectacular geological features of this incredible unearthly location! Fun fact: The Stalactites grow about one inch every 120 years! Which is truly astounding! It is a must-visit destination for anyone of all ages to explore!
Skyline Drive is up next! It is a breathtaking drive through Luray, VA! Skyline Drive overlooks exclusive scenic views of the Shenandoah National Park! On our drive, you will be able to sight the magnificent Crescent Rock, Stoney Man, Franklin Cliffs, and Harry F. Byrd, Sr. Visitor Center and much more! It is truly an adventure you will not want to miss out on!
Itinerary:
Luray Caverns (Optional, 120 mins) → Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park (120 mins)
Shenandoah National Park Special notes:
1. Due to the Skyline Drive located across Shenandoah National Park, we enter from Thornton Gap and drive to north exit, this is a one-way tour and lasts 120 mins.
2. On the winding driveway on the mountains, we will stop at the overlooks to observe the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
3. We will also take an easy walk on one of the trails among the mountains. Total 45 for this trail (round trip).
4. If the weather is extreme, the tour leader will cancel the trail trip, and add other stops properly.
Washington DC Axe Throwing Experience
I'm excited to introduce you to the sport of axe throwing! This thrilling traditional Canadian backyard pastime is now bigger than ever in urban communities. Enjoy a 45 minute axe throwing session with a top notch axe coach right here in Fairfax, 20 minutes from our nation’s capital in Washington D.C. We will provide everything you need when it comes to safety, throwing techniques and will be there to guide you throughout your entire experience. Once confident in the basics, our coach will instruct how to keep score and teach you several games in order to crown a member of your group the ultimate axe throwing champion. I promise you'll be crushing bullseyes in no time and will leave feeling like the ultimate bad axe that you are! No experience necessary, all skill levels are welcome.
Mobile BBQ & Tailgate Party
Everyone loves a tailgate party and I love hosting them.
Here's how it works:
You tell me where and when you want to throw a party. I show up with my pickup fully loaded with a barbeque grill, pop-up canopy, chairs, a table, coolers full of ice, a sound system, and food for everyone. Everything needed for a great tailgate without worrying about having to buy, transport, and store anything. The only thing you need to bring are yourself and some friends/family.
My goal is to make this as fun and easy for you as possible. I set everything up and take everything down. For the rest of our time together, I'm there to cook, serve, and take care of all the details. When the tailgate's over, we'll wave goodbye and hopefully stay in touch as new friends.
A few logistical details:
*Once you're booked, I'll provide a checklist of food options that are included in the price. This includes gluten-free, vegan, and other dietary options.
*I'm not able to provide alcohol due to Airbnb and local regulations. You are free to bring your own though!
*I can accommodate up to 30 people.

Morning Photo Session in Washington DC
Avoid the crowds and treat yourself to great pictures as a souvenir while experiencing DC landmarks.
The photo session starts at the Lincoln Memorial which has great views of the Reflecting Pool and the Washington Monument.
Then we'll take a 10 minute walk and take more photos along the way at one of the beautiful parks used often by local photographers for it's great scenery.
Price is per person.
For groups of two or more, this experience is private. And groups are discounted during checkout.
If you are making a reservation for one person, the experience is not private and another guest may book and join you. We will walk together as a group and rotate between who is taking pictures. Select two people if you do not wish to share your session with another person.

The Spies of Embassy Row
See Dupont Circle and Embassy Row through the lens of a spy! Hear contemporary and historical spy stories of conspiracy, politics, cover-ups and assassinations... We'll start at Dupont Circle where the battered body of a Kremlin insider was discovered in 2015. Then, we'll walk up Massachusetts Avenue, part of "Embassy Row", an elegant boulevard lined by homes originally belonging to some of the richest and most influential people, now housing Embassies, associations, foundations and clubs. Discuss Nathan Hale, and Jan Masaryk and visit the spot where a car bomb killed beloved Chilean diplomat Orlando Letelier and U.S. citizen Ronni Moffitt. From Sheridan Circle, we take the long way back to Dupont Circle, and pass the former home of FDR and Jay Pollard. Hear the scandalous tale of Mary “Merry” Fahrney’s. By the end of this tour, you will see the people and neighborhoods around you in a new light...

This experience takes place at the National Mall. We'll stroll past a few landmarks and monuments and get some amazing photos of you and your family or friends!

Explore the National Mall and see DC’s most iconic sites on this 3-hour small-group tour.
This tour stops at Bartholdi Park, National Native American Veterans Memorial, Smithsonian Castle, World War II Veterans Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Reflecting Pool, Lincoln Memorial, Albert Einstein Memorial, and the Washington Monument.
We will be able to see the US Capitol Building, Jefferson Memorial, and the White House from the National Mall.
During the tour, I will provide you with information about the city and all of the attractions on the National Mall.
